"Room just wasn’t comfortable"
I didn’t find the room comfortable at all. The bed felt really bad and I had a hard time getting decent sleep. Has anyone else had the same issue with the beds here?

"Room was just okay"
I don’t want to be too harsh because it wasn’t terrible, but the room was just okay. It seemed clean enough overall, though I did notice some dust in a few spots. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

"So... dinner was kind of a letdown"
So... I was really hoping dinner would be better, but it just missed the mark. The food was bland and came out cold, which was disappointing, especially for hotel prices. it didn’t feel worth it
"Good stay, but the worn bits basically screamed at me"
Stayed at an InterContinental that I booked through intercontinental.com, and overall it was a nice stay. The lobby was clean, the room was clean, and everything worked like it was supposed to, which I always appreciate because one broken thing in a hotel room can send me into a full spiral. That said, you can definitely tell parts of the place have been around for a while. The hallway carpet and some of the bathroom edges looked a bit tired, and once I noticed it, my brain acted like I had discovered ancient ruins. But really, it didn’t ruin anything. The room was comfortable, the stay was easy, and I’d still give it 4 stars. Just not quite as fresh-feeling as I expected.

I booked my stay through intercontinental.com, but when I arrived at the hotel, the room type on my reservation was completely different from what I had selected. The front desk staff told me they could only go by what was showing in their system, which made the whole situation really frustrating. It took a long time to try to sort out, and in the end, I still didn’t get the room I paid for. Definitely not the smooth check-in experience I was expecting

"Check-in dragged a bit, but checkout was fine"
Check-in took longer than I expected, kind of slower than... well, it just felt like it dragged. Checkout was much smoother though, no real issues there.

I used intercontinental.com to check out rooms and book a weekend stay, and overall it was straightforward. I was kind of half-doing it while drinking coffee and trying to remember if I’d packed my phone charger for another trip once, so I appreciated that the filters were easy to use. The prices and room details were clear enough, which is always nice because some hotel sites make you feel like you need a detective board with string and pins. The only annoying part was that a few pages loaded slowly, and I had to hit back a couple of times when things didn’t move along. Not a huge deal, though. I got the booking done in the end without much trouble

"Felt stuck paying too much"
The hotel was okay, nothing really wrong with it, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was trapped paying way more than it was worth. The room was average, breakfast wasn’t even included, and for the price I expected a lot more.

"I reached out to InterContinental about changing..."
I reached out to InterContinental about changing a booking, and it took almost two days to hear back. It wasn’t a disaster or anything, but I expected quicker replies and clearer instructions on what I needed to do next.
Once they did get back to me, the staff were friendly and sorted everything out, which I appreciated. I just wish the communication had been a little faster and more straightforward from the start

"The points really made this trip feel special"
I was so happy with how much the points helped on this trip. The free breakfast was such a nice perk, and having late checkout made everything feel way more relaxed. It really added to the whole experience.

I was able to finish the booking eventually, but the whole process didn’t feel very smooth. The payment page froze on me twice, which made me wonder if something was off. It went through in the end, but it wasn’t exactly reassuring...

I booked a weekend stay on Intercontinental Hotel, and the price was easy enough to follow, which was nice. Not always is that the case with hotel sites, so I appreciated it.
The room rate, taxes, and extra fees all showed up before I paid. For my booking, no strange surprise happened at checkout, which is kind of all I really wanted.
I’m giving 4 stars only because a few add-ons, like breakfast and parking, could be explained a little better. But overall, the final amount matched what I was expecting.

I booked through intercontinental.com even though I normally lean toward my usual hotel brand, i’m glad I did. The hotel was in the perfect spot for our weekend, close to plenty of food, shops, and the station, so getting around was really easy. I went in a little unsure since I’m loyal to where I usually stay, but this ended up being a really solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again.

"Staff were professional... and honestly, I loved them"
I booked through intercontinental.com and everything went smoothly. At first I was just like, okay, standard hotel stay, nothing dramatic. But then the staff were so professional and still genuinely friendly that my mood totally changed. Check-in was quick, they answered my questions without acting annoyed or making it a whole thing, and I ended up feeling really well taken care of.
